If you are going to link to someone else%26#039;s page, you should contact the company and ask them about %26quot;affiliate advertising%26quot;. Ever notice all those flashing advertisements on someone%26#039;s page? They get PAID to put those links on there. It might be a way to make some money. Google %26quot;affiliate advertising%26quot; and read up on it a little. Put a counter on your page so they can see you are driving traffic there. The more traffic you have, the more money you can make. Some places will even pay you a commission for anything sold to a person who clicks on their link from your page.

i did a government website and did a link..

now with the link..

will you lose business to the new link?

put in a %26quot;counter%26quot; .........and if you losing business..

in that your responses are not..according to the amount of visit (using the counter) then your losing business to the link..

(make sense)..?

now you can try some kind of %26quot;coupon thing/incentive%26quot; for the visitors to come back and use your coupon..so you get the business back...something like a $200 moving voucher if they call you or something.........then they will come back to copy out the voucher..

(just an idea)

don%26#039;t think the link will mind because they get a %26quot;free ad%26quot; via your link.......

Other Replys:I would suggest you use that as one marketing tool and discuss with the builder what you%26#039;re plans are. Gives you a polished look. Good Luck!

How is new construction where you are? It%26#039;s really tough here for small custom builders in St Paul

Other Replys:You should contact the builder anytime you put a link up.

Why would you take people who visited to your site to another one where you will lose that customer?

New home builders DON%26#039;T want agents representing their buyer%26#039;s.

They have gone to great lengths to get buyer%26#039;s to believe %26quot;If you%26#039;re buying a new home, you don%26#039;t need an agent to do that%26quot;

I would advise you NOT taking people outside your web site. You will lose them, and they won%26#039;t come back.
