Trying to build a website?

I%26#039;m fairly new to website building and have an idea for a site where users can add input and other things on the site, sort of like wikipedia allows users to edit articles,Anyone know how that works or what sort of program it is?Also what is a good site builder/host that is fairly easy for beginners to use?Would Yahoo site builder be a good choice?

Thanks

You can find a step by step guide on how to create a website at websites like http://getafreelnacer.com/webdesign.htm

You are getting into databases, and very confusing scripts.

Geocities is a great host, but it won%26#039;t be able to do what you are trying to.

Other Replys:From buying the domain to putting it on the host.

Other Replys:Hi Chip,

If you are new, I don%26#039;t think yahoo website builder is a good idea. If you like website with database, and easy to edit you might want to check those premade websites form, that comes with content management form. I bought this website http://www.thebusinesstip.com , not doing anything right now, but it come with an interface for me to insert ad, articles, and edit articles. Visitors can also submit articles. If this is what you are looking for let me know, I can get you in touch with the guy who design this website.

These are the link for those premade websites

There is also a free webauthoring tool that I came across, but I just downloaded this one and haven%26#039;t got a chance to explore it. If you are interested here is the link: http://www.freewebsite.mirrorz.com

Good Luck
