My friend is running for mayor of our town. I want to help her and she asked that I look into building a campaign website, I am lost for where to start. I did a search for campaign website templates, found several. Guess I am clueless, how do I start? Guessing we would pay a fee and get a domain name, then start designing........... maybe we%26#039;re lazy, is there such a thing as a %26#039;fill in the blanks%26#039; sort of site builder?? I generally feel comfortable %26#039;working%26#039; online, I do ebay, yahoo groups, enjoy participating in message boards, but have no idea what to do to get her started, do we just pay a web designer? This is a small city (4000 people) and we don%26#039;t have a huge budget. Any ideas would be appreciated! THANKS!

Other Replys:Look at the type of people in your city? Are alot of them young? Do alot of them know how to use a computer? What would this website do that perhaps a billboard might not?
There is a program called Microsoft Publisher and front page you could use to create a website.
But such programs would create extra costs.
What about myspace?
Alot of presidental canidates have a myspace and it kind of gets their ideas out there and allows supporters to add them as a friend and leave comments of support or questions.
Such features would be real expensive if you were to pay someone to maintain it. Myspace is free though.
To get some ideas here is hillary clinton%26#039;s myspace.

Other Replys:Get a Domain Name with FTP access. Then use a product like Front page (yes I know front page stinks but use something like it) to build your site.
Other Replys:hi, if none of the other suggestions work for you, we can help you, we are a small home based business and for as little as $500 we can build you a website, all you need to do is send us the information that would go in the website.and the color you%26#039;d like, you can send a sample website if you like. www.admics.com
