Does anyone know of a website like this?

My husband and I are thinking of purchasing a lot and then building the house ourselves. I need to know if there is a website that I can go to that will give a general idea of how much the materials and stuff will cost. We have a floorplan picked out, we are just kind of lost as to what to do next. Also would like to know if we are gonna have to take out seperate loans for the lot and then the materials. Sorry first time homeowner (builder). Any help would be appreciated.

Other Replys:Look for sweets ... they are like a labor and materials estimating company....

I suggest you deal with a builder though....

Other Replys:umm i think u should go in kutegirls.com.u%26#039;%26#039;l find lots ofhousesz lolz...

Other Replys:A lot of banks will make you have the lot paid off before they will issue a loan for the building, so definately check into the financing options first and make sure this is a feasible project for you to take on. And depending on the location of the lot, the building requirements will be different, and the permits vary. You must check with your local building department to find out what the process is, and the approximate cost for the permits, inspections, utilities, etc. Also, depending on the lot, and your area, sometimes you can live onsite in an RV during the process, and sometimes it%26#039;s a big no-no. So if this is important to you, you%26#039;ll need to make certain it%26#039;s allowed.

Other Replys:You can probably find a %26#039;square foot%26#039; price by looking at comparable already built houses in your area. The price will not be exactly right, but will give you a good idea.

If that doesn%26#039;t work, any contractor who looks at the plans will be able to give you an average sf price. Just realize that you cannot hold the contractor to that price until you get a solid bid.

Other Replys:There are hundreds if not thousands of websites on the internet enumerating the ways to apply and receive home loan when you are plagued with bad credit issues. These sites help consumers with bad credit scores to increase the viability of their existing credit scores and set up loans regardless of their credit history.Companies that specialize in bad credit home loans; usually offer a wide range of options for consumers with bad credit%26lt;!--These options include Bad Credit Home Loans, Home Equity and Line of Credit (HELOC) Loans and different options for Mortgage Refinancing, making it possible for those with bad credit to realize the dream of owning their own home. You can find Home Loans here,

They also offer a debt consolidation offer which helps the home owner organize a comprehensive program for controlling their spending. Many consumers with bad credit are grateful for the opportunity to receive a second chance, sort to speak--%26gt;Bad credit hasn%26#039;t stopped them from purchasing a home. There are several programs available for people with bad credit that helps to restore their credit status and to live debt free lives.
