I am not familiar with 1and1. However, I am a website developer, and I checked out their website. It looks like you get pretty standard features, depending on which package you choose.

It can definitely be used with Studio 8. This is because Studio 8 can be used with virtually any website hosting plan, since it is a development tool you use from your own desktop and it doesn%26#039;t reside on the server itself. I am not totally familiar with their free software, but they are pretty well known products.

As far as the timeframe a website can be completed, that will be completely dependent on what type of website you are building, how many pages, how much information per page, and your skills using the site builder.

Do you know how to use Studio 8? Studio 8 is one of the most exceptional development suites available, however, there is a lot to learn. It is not meant for a beginner to pop up a site in a day or two (an expert could, for a small project). A beginner can definitely learn and produce some things soon, but it is not meant to be a point-and-click website development tool.
