Html Builder?

Hey there, I%26#039;m bored at work and remember back in HS we%26#039;d make these HTML pages from MS notepad or something like that...

I%26#039;m having trouble remember how we set up the notepad to being a website. I can remember all the %26lt;HTML%26gt; stuff, but I remember we had to save it as a certain file or something weird like that. Does anyone happen to know what I am talking about?

I%26#039;ve got MS word, notepad and wordpad.
