How do I get my site on the internet?

Does anyone know how I put my own webpage/site onto the internet without paying anyone money or using any pre-determined website builder crap ?

I doubt that there is anything free without strings attached or ads inserted into your site. I have a dial up ISP that cost just under $100 per year and includes 15 mb of web space. Just check around with local companies.

Other Replys:go here for free webhosting, free domains (all w/o forced ads)

also you will find many webmaster tools and advice for free

Other Replys:That is very impossible nowadays, need to pay to have a website open in the Internet

Other Replys:freewebs.com i think but the website name is freewebs.com/********

Other Replys:u can get free webspace on a lot of places as mentioned by the other people. But the domain name will always be associated with the webhost (e.g. freewebs.com/yourDomain/yourPage). To get ur own domain name, you need to buy the domain name (e.g. yourDomain.com/yourPage) for a certain amount per year. That part never comes for free.

I use byethost.com for hosting, they give me 2GB of bandwidth, 250MB of storage space, 2 mysql databases, and an FTP account. The only drawback is the little google add on top, which can be removed for like $15 a year.
