OK, I had.. windowsvista installed and was loading drivers for the MB,VGA, then got the screen..since then i have even re-formated the HD and still get it...tried to install Vista64 several times it completes and them when it is initializing/starting for the first time.the blues screen appears and it turns off. (and the windows instalations is damaged.
this is a brand new XFX nForce 680i LT SLI Motherboard, SLI memory/ nvidia 8800 GT ovc, 10,000rpm raptor HD
i have gone though every thing I can think of in the bios. (default).swapped around various connections to the sata drives..
well at this point any advice would be welcomed.

When the Blue Scren appears write down the errors and then do some research on the errors. Microsoft.com will most likely explain why this is happening.

I think I know what your problem is...
reformat the hard drive and install a working operating system first.
Try SUSE Linux
