Artists who have websites, please help?

On my website, I want to have a %26quot;gallery page%26quot; where the images of my work appear, fade out and then a new one appears. My site is from a Yahoo Site builder. Is it possible to do this on this website and if so, can you tell me how or point me in the right direction?

I use Sitebuilder myself. I just downloaded this code and got it to work (well, almost, with some fiddling left...

Yes, you%26#039;ll have to read the whole page to understand how to get it to work... ie,

- make sure you write your path (images/ or whatever) if your images are in a different folder

- make sure your images are all the same size

- make sure you copy the second box of code (further down the page - it makes the javascript work) and insert onto the page the same way

Go To - Insert

drop down = HTML Code

copy %26amp; paste the code into the box, then edit their picture numbers with your own. Keep fiddling, you%26#039;ll get it.

Well, with the code on this page, you can make one image turn into another by putting your mouse on it. If you%26#039;re good at HTML you might beable to make it do several images.

I, personally, don%26#039;t reccomend this strategy because the people that are looking at the images want as much time as possible to look at them. I do own an art website (it%26#039;s under constructiong, I%26#039;m totally changing the layout-www.freewebs.com/aprildragonart)

What I%26#039;m going to do is just put a link for the image. That way you won%26#039;t have to waste your time on tedious HTML.

Other Replys:well, there will always be limitations on free and guided websites, but I know lissaexplains.com has almost everything html you will need. Bravenet has many free tools, also.

For that specific thing, you will have to use something more complicated than html. Search up something like %26quot;fading slideshow images html code%26quot;. The word %26quot;code%26quot; will point you towards a site with helpful codes, and the word %26quot;html%26quot; will make the difference between website codes and something entirely different. With similar keywords, you should find what you need quite quickly.
